Anais Amin’s professional path in radio production began at Marketplace, an award-winning public radio program produced by American Public Media, where she served from January 2022 to December 2022 as a production assistant. In this role, she was instrumental in researching and pitching topics, pre-interviewing guests, editing audio, and scripting segments for hosts. She was key in producing digital content and collaborating with other producers to deliver timely and impactful content.
From June to December 2021, her time as an intern at Marketplace was marked by significant contributions to show research and preparation and digital content creation, providing her with a robust foundation in the dynamics of radio production.
Before her tenure at Marketplace, she worked as a production assistant at KPFK Radio 90.7 FM from 2017 to 2019. There, her responsibilities included booking and interviewing scholars and experts on various topics, crafting show topics, editing interviews, and ensuring the production of quality radio segments.
